The Concept which started over fives years ago was to have Down Under Brewery Resorts cater to the International Beer market particularly Asia. To this we were also seeking to build as a destination a Resort for international and domestic tourists seeking long term or overnight accommodation. The first of the Down Under Brewery Resorts will be a 330-acre site to be developed at Bulahdelah on the Mid North Coast/Great Lakes Region of N.S.W. It incorporates the North-Eastern side of The Alum Mountain as seen in the centre of this aerial.
This helicopter shot will let you appreciate the beauty of the location. The land comprising the site is a combination of land acquired from the Bulahdelah Community Golf Club, and is located adjacent to the Golf Course grounds, and land purchased by private sale. The region is less than a two and a half hour drive from the Sydney Central Business District and only a forty five- minute drive from Newcastle Airport. The Down Under Brewery Resort concept is a highly flexible and integrated development. It consists of diverse income generation centres on the site: - A boutique brewery, which will produce Down Under's own 3 premium beer brands for the export market and cellar door sales. We will also Contract Brew and package for a number of Micro Premium brewers who require state of the art brewing, bottling and packaging facilities. We also are the largest shareholder in the Outback Brewery who are supplying such Enterprises as Woolworths and David Jones and overseas giants like COSCO.
- 105 Serviced Strata Apartments (1 to 3 bedrooms) with cafe/bars and Resort style pool. Children's activity area, walking trails.
